The Skilsaw takes a 7 1/4“ blade. Always unplug the saw when changing the angle or depth of cut. When using it, you should make sure you adjust the blade depth to just a little more than is needed, and cut with the work clamped and either a sacrificial piece under it, or else with the cut hanging in the air.
There is an orange homemade guide to be used with this saw only. Make sure your blade angle is a perfect 90 degrees before using it. Also, the guide will not work if the depth of cut is set very deep. The saw will cut exactly to the edge of the guide.
